Day 1 - It seems as if I'm avoiding as much food as possible...

Aha :) Hello again! Third post today I think...

Basically, after the last post and some facebook.... (should be revising :/), I had a bit of nap, because I was rather tired :) Woke up in time for tea though!

Tea:
Rice & stuff - bascially, because of the way it's been cooked, I've technically only used 100ml in cooking (or even less than that! But we'll go with this figure ;)) which is actually rather awesome! :-) Never realised how 'little' water you need to cook rice... but then again, thinking back to Uganda, I guess I should have known ;)

Also, went to the loo... didn't flush it because I remembered, but somehow managed to subconsciously wash my hands... oops! But did turn off the tap almost immediately though, so I think that was about 200ml to be safe... :-)

Had two satsumas, and water wasn't needed for them :P

Washing up:
A bowl and chopsticks - which used about 300ml :-) did have a spoon too, but I didn't use it (and therefore didn't wash it ;))

Also had an apple, so I used 50ml to wash it... :-) (& a vitamin jelly thing! which didn't require water...)

Brushing my teeth only used about 300ml :-)

That's it really... nothing really exciting!

To explain the title:
Yhh, there were far much more stuff than just "rice&stuff" at the dinner table :P which I simply didn't eat, not because water was needed to cook them or prepare them etc., but because they were on plates etc. which were going to be washed, and therefore it was just too complicated to calculate, as there's six of us in the family etc.... so yh :-) There were cherries too... but taking the water used to wash them into account was far too complicated for my brain at the moment!

I think I'm beginning to realise how I've been using water so casually and subconsciously, beginning to forget the experience I had back in Uganda, where there were eco-toilets to save water usage!

Going to children's youth group tonight... will be back about 10:20pm me thinks :-)
I do have to wear the t-shirt though... would this count as part of the three outfits allowed? It's only a evening thing, and I'm not planning to wash it till after next week's youth group :P Hmmm...

Will calculate the total water usage later, seen as I need to go... au revoir for now! :-)
