Alright, final post for the day(:
Had a lovely evening with 'little' kids :-)
Didn't use any water in any way whilst there :P (other than electricity... if you count that :P) I did wonder though... we use electricity pretty much all the time, and via that, we're kinda using water indirectly too (you know, steam and all that :P) Hmmm...
Came home, went to the toilet etc. (didn't flush it!) and washed hands (about 400ml I think ;))
Also washed my socks using the biodegradable soapy stuff I took to Uganda... which used about 600ml :-)
So my water usage for Day 1:
- 3.8L for general usage
- 0.2L for drinking (oops...)
Therefore Day 1 total usage: 4L out of my 10L allowance
Sooo, I can have extra 6L tomorrow! :D Should be very useful, esp in terms of cooking :-)
Still got all 10 free public flushes to use too ;)
Haven't used any wet wipes or antibacterial hand gel yet (used water instead!)... but probably may have to in the days to follow ;)
Probably should end it there now... time to revise(: or rather, pyjama time ;)
- HaEun :-)
P.S. Thank-you so much for reading! Do visit Tearfund's (the charity we're raising money towards!) website to see what they're up to :-) http://www.tearfund.org/
